Andrea Boehlke ‘Survivor 34’ exit interview: ‘One of my flaws’ was not being aware I was a threat [PODCAST]

“I think that was one of my flaws,” admits “Survivor: Game Changers” castoff Andrea Boehlke about not being aware of how much the other castaways perceived her as a threat to win. Following her elimination in “Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow,” Andrea tells us, “What I think happened was, my name came up at merge from Zeke Smith and all of a sudden it was this whole thing that I was a big strategic and social and challenge threat. I feel like it’s a group-think situation. And granted, yes, I should have recognized I was a bigger threat than I thought I was.”

This was Andrea’s third time playing the game after finishing fifth in “Survivor: Redemption Island” (Season 22) and seventh in “Survivor: Caramoan” (Season 26). Does she ever want to play again? Listen to our full exit interview above and then make your “Survivor 34” predictions for a chance to top our famous leaderboards. It’s fun and easy, so start now by predicting the finishing order of the Final 6.

Andrea left the game with a smile on her face, to which she explains, “I am actually shocked that I react like this because I can definitely be a sore loser in real life. I do not like to lose. [But] I was smiling when I saw my name, which is so weird.” After the votes were read, Andrea went over and teased Cirie Fields for turning on her. “I figured if I was going to be voted out, I’m sure Cirie was going to have something to do with it because she’s always gonna be clued in on what was going on,” Andrea sighs.

Also in our “Survivor” podcast, Andrea chats about her rivalry with Zeke, what she would change if she could go back and do it over again, why this season had a “dark cloud” over it and what she thinks about being one of only seven contestants to play more than 100 days.
