Nine-year-old singer Angelica Hale performed Tuesday night on the first live show of “America’s Got Talent” 2017, and she moved the audience with her rendition of “Clarity” by Zedd. “That note! The Mariah note!” praised host Tyra Banks after Hale hit a powerful high-pitched note at the end of her song. Watch Angelica Hale’s live performance above.
All four “AGT” judges — Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel — jumped to their feet at the conclusion of Hale’s performance. Hale was awarded with Chris Hardwick‘s Golden Buzzer back in the Judge Cuts round, and now it looks like she’s here to show why she deserves to win.
Mel B raved, “You’re so small and you’ve got this massive voice! And the way that you interpreted every single lyric meant something so powerful. Thank you so much.”
“You hit those high notes,” shouted Klum. “I’m like, what?! And you don’t just hit them — you bash them, you stomp them, you knock them out and you show them who’s boss.”
“I’m in it to win it,” smiled Hale when the judges finished their positive critiques. Our readers agree, as she currently comes in second place to win “AGT” Season 12. Who do YOU think will win “Americas Got Talent” 2017?
