Ever wonder what it’s like to be backstage at the Emmy Awards? Well, Gold Derby’s got you covered! We went backstage at the 2017 Emmys to bring you exclusive photos of the press room, winners walk, photo booths, and even the food tables. Click through our photo gallery above for fun behind-the-scenes photos from the 2017 Emmys, held Sunday, September 17 at the Microsoft Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles.

Here’s a peek at the red carpet stage where all of the Emmy winners will come to answer journalist’s questions. This year the press room is located in the Gold Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel, just next door to the Microsoft Theatre.

Our gallery also shows glimpses of the winners walk area, where outlets like “Entertainment Tonight,” “E,” “Access Hollywood,” “Extra” and “IMDb” will interview the Emmy champs following their victories.

Before the show begins, the TV academy kindly provides the press with pretzels, chips and Fiji water. During the ceremony, sandwiches and salads will be offered along with soft drinks and coffee.

Who will be among this year’s Emmy winners that will come backstage to answer press queries? According to Gold Derby’s exclusive odds, the four comedy acting winners will be Julia Louis-Dreyfus (“Veep”), Donald Glover (“Atlanta”), Kate McKinnon (“Saturday Night Live”) and Alec Baldwin (“Saturday Night Live”). And the quartet of drama acting champs are likely to be Elisabeth Moss (“The Handmaid’s Tale”), Sterling K. Brown (“This is Us”), Thandie Newton (“Westworld”) and John Lithgow (“The Crown”).
