
Oscar voting kicks off on Feb. 13 and runs for nine days before ending at 5 p.m. PT on Feb. 21. Just hours before the ballots go live online on Monday, the BAFTAs will take place in London Sunday evening (Feb. 12). Last year, these precursor prizes weren’t handed out until the third day of Oscar voting.

Seven guilds (producers, directors, actors, cinematographers, film editors, production designers, visual effects wizards) will weigh in with their winners before final Oscar voting begins. The four other guilds (writers, makeup artists & hair stylists, sound editors and sound mixers) will chime in during voting, with only the costume designers holding off till hours after Oscar voting ends on Feb. 21
