‘Big Brother’ finale: 59% of fans happy Cody Nickson was named America’s Favorite Houseguest — Do YOU agree?

In a divisive decision, “Big Brother” villain Cody Nickson was named America’s Favorite Houseguest during last week’s Season 19 finale. While many “Big Brother” fans were happy with that decision — exactly 59%, according to our recent poll — that means a large proportion (41%) disagreed with America’s choice. Where do YOU stand? Are you happy that Jessica Graf‘s in-house boyfriend won the $25,000 prize, or should someone else have claimed that honor? Sound off down in the comments section.

As a refresher, here are the other players to earn the coveted title of America’s Favorite Houseguest throughout “Big Brother” history: Victor Arroyo (Season 18), James Huling (Season 17), Donny Thompson (Season 16), Elissa Slater (Season 15), Frank Eudy (Season 14), Jeff Schroeder (Seasons 13 and 11), Britney Haynes (Season 12), Keesha Smith (Season 10), James Zinkand (Season 9) and Janelle Pierzina (Season 7).

When host Julie Chen asked Cody what he thought about being named the fans’ choice, he replied simply, “It doesn’t make sense.” Apparently, Cody thought that veteran player Paul Abrahamian would earn that title, but Cody had no way of knowing that America had turned on Paul. In fact, just prior to the Season 19 finale more than half of “Big Brother” fans claimed they didn’t want Paul to win the $500,000 prize because they saw him as a bully who had unfair advantages in the house.

Here is a handful of supportive comments from the 59% of people who are happy that Cody won America’s Favorite Houseguest. Lend your own thoughts down below in the comments section.

Jacob: “Nothing was enjoyable about watching this season besides his dry humour.”

Monte Good: “Yes, Cody is Hot!!!”

BBfansarehilarious: “Loved his attitude towards Paul and the weaker players. He called it like it was, which didn’t serve his game, but it entertained me greatly.”

Chris Good: “What a hunk.”

Wayne: “America voting for Cody was an anti-Paul/backlash reaction by people who thought that Paul was a sure thing to win the game. Imagine their surprise when Josh took the 500K.”
