The latest Billboard Hot 100 singles chart is out, dated March 18, and the top four remain the same. Ed Sheeran (“Shape of You”) is on top for the sixth straight week, followed by Migos featuring Lil Uzi Vert (“Bad and Boujee”) at number-two, Zayn and Taylor Swift (“I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” from “Fifty Shades Darker”) at number-three, and Bruno Mars (“That’s What I Like”) in fourth position. But the biggest news involves The Chainsmokers, who have three songs in the top 10 at the same time. The only other duo or group acts to have accomplished that feat in the past were The Beatles and The Bee Gees.
The top charting song this week for the electronic dance music duo is “Something Just Like This” featuring Coldplay, which leaps from number-56 all the way up to number-five. Next up is “Paris,” which dips slightly from number-six to number-seven. And the group’s Grammy nominated mega-hit “Closer” with Halsey drops from the fifth spot to number-10 this week after having spent a record 27 weeks in the top five.
