Billboard Music Awards: Cher wows with ‘Believe’ and ‘If I Could Turn Back Time’ [WATCH]

Cher was celebrated at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards with the Icon Award. Before accepting this prize before an arena full of fans, she proved to be worthy of the honor by delivering jaw-dropping renditions of two of her biggest hits: the Grammy-winning “Believe” and the dance anthem “If I Could Turn Back Time.” (Watch below)

She certainly seemed to turn back time as she wowed the crowd with both her singing and her physique, which was on full display in two very revealing outfits. After being presented the award by Gwen Stefani, Cher drew gasps during her heartfelt acceptance speech when she admitted, “I’ve been doing it for 53 years. This is not an applause thing. I’m 71 yesterday. Yes. And I can do a five-minute plank, just saying.”

Cher has a long history with the Billboard charts. She has hit number one on the Hot 100 every decade since the 1960s. She even won the Hot 100 Single of the Year award for “Believe” back in 1999. Three years later, she was feted with the Artist Achievement Award and picked up the Best Dance/Club Play Artist award as well.

Below, watch Cher perform both of these hits during the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, which aired on ABC on Sunday, May 21.
