A slew of gold- and platinum-selling artists are in contention for the silver anniversary of the Billboard Music Awards. Reigning Artist of the Year Adele defends her title against Beyonce, Justin Bieber, The Chainsmokers, Drake, Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, Rihanna, Twenty One Pilots and The Weeknd.

And this English songbird is looking to pick up a third Female Artist prize but must prevail over Beyonce, Grande, Rihanna and Sia. Likewise Bieber is in the hunt for a third Male Artist award. He faces off against Drake, Future, Shawn Mendes and The Weeknd.

In contention for the Top Billboard 200 Album award are chart-topping discs by Beyoncé (“Lemonade”), Drake (“Views”), Rihanna (“Anti”), Twenty One Pilots (“Blurryface”) and The Weeknd (“Starboy”).

The Top Hot 100 Song competition is packed with hits with two collaborations by The Chainsmokers (“Closer,” featuring Halsey and “Don’t Let Me Down” featuring Daya, one by Drake (“One Dance” featuring WizKid & Kyla) and No. 1 hits for Justin Timberlake (“Can’t Stop the Feeling!”) and Twenty One Pilots (“Heathens”).

Winners will be announced prior to and during the ceremony from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 21 that will air on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
