Bruno Mars released a new music video for “That’s What I Like” on Wednesday evening, March 1, and it was viewed more than three million times in just its first 13 hours online. Watch the stylish new video above.
“That’s What I Like” is the second single to be released from “24K Magic,” the third studio album by Mars which dropped on November 18, 2016. The song was released as a single back on January 30, and he performed the song live at the Grammys on February 12. Since then the song has risen to number-four on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. That made it his 13th top-five hit, tying Rihanna for the most top-five singles this decade. The song may get another boost on the charts thanks to the new video, and if it eventually tops the chart it will be Mars’s seventh number-one single.
The new video is a single shot of Mars singing and dancing in front of a plain gray backdrop, but his already impressive moves are enhanced by creative animation and lighting effects. This follows the title track from “24K Magic,” which was released as a single last October and whose video has since been viewed more than 484 million times as of this writing.
