Celine Tam (‘America’s Got Talent’) exit interview: Singer thanks fans for support [WATCH]

Despite being one of just nine Golden Buzzer picks on “America’s Got Talent,” Celine Tam was eliminated during the Semifinals 2 results show. Despite the shock, this young singer spoke eloquently in her elimination interview and thanked her supporters for all of their efforts to keep her in the competition. (Watch Tam’s exit interview above.)

The first time Tam appeared on the “AGT” stage, she inspired guest judge Laverne Cox to hit her Golden Buzzer with her powerful performance of Michael Bolton‘s “How Am I Supposed To Live Without You.” However, a nervous Tam faltered on the live semifinal with her rendition of “How Far I’ll Go” from the Disney animated feature “Moana.” Only Klum gave her a standing ovation. While Mel B dismissed her performance as too “musical theater,” Simon Cowell countered that it was the perfect song choice and Howie Mandel wished her well.

With Tam gone from the competition, who do you think will win season 12 of “AGT”? Will it be one of the other child stars — singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer or singer Angelica Hale, who currently lead our exclusive odds? Or will it be one of the other eight finalists: dog act Sara Carson and Hero, singer Evie Clair, acrobatic dance group Diavolo, singer-songwriter/guitarist Chase Goehring, singer-songwriter/ukeleleist Mandy Harvey, stand-up comedian Preacher Lawson, dance group Light Balance or singer Kechi?
