‘Dancing with the Stars’ elimination predictions: Barbara Corcoran will likely go home, but who will join her?

Gold Derby’s users are pretty sure Barbara Corcoran will be eliminated this week on “Dancing with the Stars.” She had the lowest judges’ score in the season premiere episode, and she’s paired with unlucky pro partner Keo Motsepe, who has been eliminated first or second in four out of his five previous seasons. But Corcoran won’t be alone. There will be two eliminations this week: one on Monday night’s show, “Ballroom Night,” and one on a special Tuesday night episode, “Latin Night.” So who will join her?

We don’t have all the information yet since Tuesday night’s eliminations will be based on Monday’s judges’ scores and viewer votes. For the purposes of our predictions contest, we’ll be combining the scores and results from both nights of competition, so when it comes to this week’s elimination your chances are twice as good of getting a right answer. But almost everyone agrees Corcoran will be ousted, leaving the door wide open for who the other elimination might be.

As of this writing Corcoran leads our predictions with odds of 2/9, which translates to an 82% chance of elimination. Ranked a distant second is Frankie Muniz, who actually surprised us — and maybe the judges too — with one of the season premiere’s better routines, tying for fifth place out of 13 contestants with a score of 19 out of 30. He currently gets 22/1 odds, or a 4.2% chance of elimination. Ranked third is “Pretty Little Liars” star Sasha Pieterse with 25/1 odds, or a 3.7% chance of going home. Pieterse landed in the middle of the pack in terms of judges’ scores — tied for seventh with a score of 18 out of 30 — but we discussed here why she might be vulnerable.
