‘Dancing with the Stars’: Erika Jayne refuses to compromise her sex appeal for ‘Most Memorable Year’ [WATCH]

“Real Housewives” star Erika Jayne has been adamant about maintaining her sex appeal on “Dancing with the Stars,” which has occasionally gotten her mixed reactions from the judges. On “Most Memorable Year” night that was no different. She performed a cha cha with pro partner Gleb Savchenko to Madonna‘s “Express Yourself” inspired by 1989, the year she moved to New York City to pursue her show business dreams. Watch it above.

“I love how you perform. There are no apologies,” said judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who was appreciative of her routine. “You just show up as you. You present yourself, you are bold and fearless. I really respect that.” But Len Goodman wasn’t such a fan: “For me, you’re on a bit of a plateau,” he said. “It’s a bit same-old-same-old. You go down this sexy route … Gleb, you’ve got a terrific dancer here, I’d like to just see her come out and really dance.”

Julianne Hough also came to Jayne’s defense, however, calling her “fierce and raw just like Madonna, and you came out and you were awesome,” though she asked Jayne to work on her hip action. And Bruno Tonioli added, “You go for it, and I love that … ‘This is who I am, this is what I’ve got. I’ve got it and I flaunt it.'”

So who’s right? Does Jayne perform with too much sex appeal? Not enough? Just the right amount? Should Savchenko change up his choreography? Jayne’s performance received 7s from Goodman and Hough and 8s from Inaba and Tonioli, for a total of 30 out of 40. That’s her best score to date, but after Mr. T was eliminated at the end of the night it left her tied with “Bachelor” star Nick Viall at the bottom of the leaderboard, so she’s vulnerable of elimination next week.
