“Dancing with the Stars” fans, YOU can win a $100 Amazon gift certificate each week by answering Gold Derby’s season 24 contest questions: who will get the highest score from the judges, who will get the lowest score from judges, and who will be eliminated. And make sure to think long and hard about our season-long question: Who will win the Mirror Ball Trophy? At the end of the season you’ll score more points for every consecutive week you’re correctly predicting the winner, so it pays to stick to your guns — but only if you’re right.
Making your predictions is fun and easy, so start now by predicting who — if anyone — will go home in the first week of the competition.
In our predictions center, you get to answer the following questions before each live episode airs on ABC every Monday at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET., starting with the season premiere episode on March 20:
Who will win ‘Dancing with the Stars’?
Which star will be eliminated?
Who will receive the judges’ HIGHEST score?
Who will receive the judges’ LOWEST score?
How many 10s will the judges give out?
There are 12 stars competing in season 24 of “DWTS” (check out our gallery of the contestants above). That includes athletes, who often make successful transitions to the dance floor, like past winners Emmitt Smith, Apolo Anton Ohno and reigning champ Laurie Hernandez. This year’s contestants from the elite sports world are Hernandez’s Olympic teammate Simone Biles, bull rider Bonner Bolton, football player Rashad Jennings, figure skater Nancy Kerrigan and baseball player David Ross.
Musicians, already known for their rhythm, have also been successful in the past. Drew Lachey, Nicole Scherzinger and Kellie Pickler won previous seasons coming from musical backgrounds. That could be good news for this year’s musicians: actress and flamenco guitarist Charo, singer and reality star Erika Jayne and Fifth Harmony singer Normani Kordei.
Actors are always well represented on the “DWTS” dance floor, so it’s no surprise they win frequently as well, including Kelly Monaco, Jennifer Grey, Amber Riley and Alfonso Ribeiro, among others. This year’s acting celebs are “Saturday Night Live” comedian Chris Kattan, “Glee” star Heather Morris and Mr. T.
Rounding out this season’s cast is the current star of “The Bachelor,” Nick Viall, who would be the first “Bachelor” ever to win the Mirror Ball Trophy if he succeeds. That may sound difficult, but it’s not impossible when you consider that one former “Bachelorette” has proven that it can be done: Melissa Rycroft, who won season 15.
