Darci Lynne Farmer reveals her favorite ‘America’s Got Talent’ performance: Naughty puppet Edna singing to Simon Cowell [WATCH]

As 12-year-old ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer prepares to embark on her nationwide tour, she recently spoke about her whirlwind experience on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” Farmer told Tiger Beat that her all-time favorite performance on “AGT” was in the Semifinals when her elderly puppet Edna sang Aretha Franklin‘s “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” to Simon Cowell. “That was absolutely hilarious,” recalled Farmer (watch the video above). Edna was Farmer’s third puppet on the reality TV show following rabbit Petunia and mouse Oscar, but Edna is known for being a bit, shall we say, naughty.

“I was nervous,” Farmer continued, “The most nervous I’ve ever been on the show was that night when I sang to Simon because I didn’t know what he would do. I was so scared. I was like, ‘Mom, what if he gets up and leaves? What if he’s like …’ And then after my performance, he came up on stage, and he was like, ‘You are in major trouble,’ and he was like, ‘But your performance was brilliant.'”

Soon after winning “America’s Got Talent” 2017, Farmer entertained audiences at her Las Vegas show at Planet Hollywood. While thousands of fans were able to attend the four sold-out shows, not everyone who supported Farmer on her “AGT” journey was able to see the talented tyke live and in person. Thankfully, Farmer recently announced that she will soon embark on a cross-country tour, along with her trusted puppets.

Titled “Darci Lynne and Friends Live,” Farmer’s cross-country tour will visit many locations in 2018, with more likely to be added soon. You can purchase your tickets right now at www.darcilynne.com using the code “PETUNIA.
