
“La La Land” reaped a leading 11 BAFTA nominations and we are predicting it will prevail in nine of those races on Sunday (Feb. 12). Below, we break down these expected wins for “La La Land” by likelihood, noting its fiercest rival in each category. And we reveal which films are ahead to win in the other two races in which it contends.

All eight of us agree that Chazelle will prevail over Tom Ford (“Nocturnal Animals”), Ken Loach (“I, Daniel Blake”), Kenneth Lonergan (“Manchester by the Sea”) and Denis Villeneuve (“Arrival”).
BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY (8 experts: odds of 1/10)
Despite its loss to “Lion” at the American Society of Cinematographers Awards, we all predict “La La Land” will win here over that film as well as “Arrival,” “Hell or High Water” and “Nocturnal Animals.”
BEST PRODUCTION DESIGN (8 experts: odds of 1/10)
All of us are backing “La La Land” over the “Doctor Strange,” “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” “Hail, Caesar” and “Nocturnal Animals.”
BEST SCORE (8 experts: odds of 1/10)
We are unanimous that “La La Land” will take this race over “Arrival,” “Jackie,” “Lion” and “Nocturnal Animals.”

The sole outlier is Sasha Stone (Awards Daily) who is predicting an upset by “Moonlight,” which has odds of 13/2.
BEST ACTRESS: Emma Stone (7 experts: odds of 2/9)
Only Joyce Eng (TV Guide) is predicting a win for Natalie Portman (“Jackie”), which gives her odds of 6/1.
BEST FILM EDITING (7 experts: odds of 2/9)
Sasha Stone (Awards Daily) expects “Arrival” to prevail here, giving it odds of 6/1.
BEST SOUND (7 experts: odds of 2/9)
Sasha Stone (Awards Daily) forecasts a victory for “Hacksaw Ridge,” which has odds of 6/1.

While Chazelle has the votes of two experts, four are predicting a win for playwright Kenneth Lonergan for his script of “Manchester by the Sea.” That support gives this writer/director leading odds of 11/10.
BEST ACTOR: Ryan Gosling (0 experts: odds of 50/1)
Seven of our experts favor Casey Affleck (“Manchester by the Sea”), which translates into odds of 2/9 while one favors the sole British nominee, Andrew Garfield (“Hacksaw Ridge”), who has odds of 6/1.
