‘Full Frontal with Samantha Bee’ on Trump’s nuclear threat & Steve Bannon’s army of alt-right demons [WATCH]

“Welcome to another carefree day in the world of late-night comedy,” said Samantha Bee when she opened Wednesday night’s “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.” She was referring of course to Donald Trump‘s totally routine, not-a-big-deal statement on Tuesday, in which he said, “North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.” Did the president just threaten nuclear war? Watch Bee’s entire opening segment above.

Trump’s already-infamous “fire and fury” threat happened the day before “Full Frontal” aired. When we interviewed Bee (watch below) she discussed the scramble to keep up with all the Trump scandals, like the abrupt firing of FBI director James Comey in May. It was Tuesday when we spoke to Bee, and she told us, “While you and I are sitting here talking, I’m sure something is happening right now … I’m sure if I just watched the news crawl, it would be astonishing.” Trump’s nuclear threat occurred that same afternoon.

After discussing Trump’s reckless rhetoric against North Korea, Bee turned her attention to top presidential adviser Steve Bannon, “who brought the alt-right into our world like a reverse Buffy standing at the Hellmouth going, ‘Come on in, demons!'” She traces Bannon’s career from “World of Warcraft” to Breitbart News, to ushering white nationalism into the White House.

Watch the rest above, and check out our interview below to find out why Bee thinks the Trump administration is even worse than she imagined.
