In addition to being a six-time Grammy champ, a Golden Globe winner, and a nominee at the Oscars and Emmys, Lady Gaga can now cross something else off of her bucket list: Super Bowl 2017 halftime show performer. While many fans wondered if she would make some sort of political statement during her time in the spotlight, Gaga instead focused on her artistry. What did you think of Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl performance? Be sure to vote in our poll below.
After dropping down into NRG Stadium in Houston, TX like a spider monkey, Gaga sang a medley of her hits including “The Edge of Glory,” “Poker Face,” “Born This Way” and “Telephone” while dressed in a futuristic silver dress and sparkly boots. She finished her acrobatic performance by singing her mega-hit “Bad Romance,” dropping the mic, catching a football and then jumping off screen.
Mostly known for her singing, Lady Gaga entered the world of acting in 2015. She joined the cast of FX’s “American Horror Story: Hotel” and ended up winning the Golden Globe for Best Limited Series Actress for her role as a sexy vampire. Last year she was also nominated at the Oscars along with Diane Warren for their original song “Til It Happens to You” from the documentary “The Hunting Ground.”
