2017 Latin Grammy Awards live stream: How to watch 18th annual Latin Grammys

The Latin Grammy Awards air live on Thursday Nov. 16 from from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Univision. The 18th annual edition of these awards will pay tribute to “Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. Among those slate to take to the stage at least once (albeit as performers) are nominees Banda El Recodo De Cruz Lizárraga, Bronco, CNCO, Lila Downs, Nicky Jam, Carlos Vives and Sebastián Yatra.

The Latin Grammy Awards will be able for free streaming to both cable and satellite subscribers on both Univision.com and through the Univision app. And the Latin Grammy Awards All Access Show, which is set to take viewers both backstage and onto the red carpet starts its live stream at 4:00 p.m. ET/1:00 p.m. PT on the official Facebook page.

Residente has a leading nine nominations followed by Maluma with seven and Shakira at six. A trio of acts – Kevin Jiménez ADG, Juanes, and Mon Laferte — earned five apiece while a half dozen more — Luis Fonsi, Vicente García, Nicky Jam, Natalia Lafourcade, Danay Suarez, and Daddy Yankee — contend in four categories.

Nominations were culled from nearly 10,000 submissions across 48 categories that were released during the eligibility period (July 1, 2016 through May 31, 2017). The slate of contenders was announced on Sept. 26. The final round of online voting by members of the Latin recording academy kicked off on Sept. 28.

In making the announcement, President/CEO of The Latin Recording Academy Gabriel Abaroa Jr. noted, “Many of this year’s nominees have expanded beyond traditional genres to create different fusions through creative collaborations. These artists, producers, and writers, united by artistic excellence and devotion to their craft, have come together to deliver eclectic music that has resulted in worldwide success.”
