Directed by Taika Waititi, “Thor: Ragnarok” finds Hemsworth’s usually hammered hero without said hammer as he becomes a prisoner in a sort of gladiator-inspired world. Can Thor and Hulk stop fighting each other and escape that planet in time to save his home world Asgard from ruthless new villain Hela (Blanchett)? Marvel’s ‘X-Men’ movies ranked: ‘Logan’ is by far the best, but what’s the worst?

Hemsworth, who we list as one of Marvel’s 20 sexiest heroes, has starred as Thor in four Marvel films so far: “Thor” (2011), “The Avengers” (2012), “Thor: The Dark World” (2013) and “Avengers: Age of Ultron” (2015). Some fans also count his brief appearance in “Doctor Strange” (2016), though Hemsworth was uncredited for that cameo role. After “Thor: Ragnarok” he’s also set to appear in 2018’s “Avengers: Infinity War.”
