‘Orange is the New Black’ season 5 to premiere on Netflix on June 9

The teaser trailer (watch above) gives us a fleeting glance of Daya Diaz (Dascha Polanco) from the end of season four, where she was in showdown with two guards during a riot that broke out after the Pousey (Samira Wiley) was killed. Also packed into those 15 seconds are shots of series lead Taylor Schilling (Piper), Emmy nominee Kate Mulgrew, scene-stealer Natasha Lyonne (Nicky) and Laura Prepon (Alex) among others.

The series, which has already been renewed for seasons six and seven, has been an awards magnet from its debut in 2013. Besides those three group SAG Awards, Uzo Aduba won Comedy Actress twice (2015, 2016) and both the guest comedy and supporting drama actress Emmys in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
