Throughout the week leading up to Oscar Sunday, the area surrounding the Dolby Theater became a n0-go zone for traffic of all kinds. Sidewalks were closed and the subway won’t stop at the Hollywood & Highland station next Sunday either.

To accommodate the construction of press risers, fan bleachers and pre-show stages along the Oscars red carpet, Hollywood Boulevard was closed between Highland Avenue and Orange Drive beginning at last Sunday and will remain closed until 6 a.m. on Wednesday March 1.
