‘Saturday Night Live’: Gal Gadot narrowly edges out Kumail Nanjiani as YOUR favorite ‘SNL’ host of Season 43

Saturday Night Live” fans have been voting in droves for their favorite host so far in Season 43, and the results are in. With 37% of the vote, Gal Gadot (“Wonder Woman”) narrowly edges out Kumail Nanjiani (“The Big Sick”) by only one point, who comes in at 36%. Ryan Gosling (“Blade Runner 2049”) rounds out the poll results with 27% support. Gosling previously hosted in 2015, while Gadot and Nanjiani were first-timers to NBC’s perennial late-night TV program. Do you agree that Galdot is the best “SNL” host so far this season? Gadot hosted the second episode on October 7 alongside musical guest Sam Smith. In Gadot’s opening monologue, she announced that this was the first time “SNL” was being broadcast in Israel, her home country. Emmy nominee Leslie Jones then popped up dressed as the Times Square Wonder Woman who was hoping to take a selfie with the real deal.

Among Gadot’s notable characters, she played an Amazon warrior who’s lusted after by a pair of lesbians, a Bosnian woman who went on a first date with O.J. Simpson, a Cinderella-esque figure who refused to wear an ugly dress made by her pet mice, and Kendall Jenner in E’s new reality show.

Larry David is set to host the next live episode of “Saturday Night Live” on November 4 with musical guest Miley Cyrus. Tiffany Haddish will host the November 11 episode with musical guest Taylor Swift. And Chance the Rapper will host the November 18 episode with musical guest Eminem.
