In “Survivor: Kaoh Rong — Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty” (Season 32), Aubry Bracco came this close to winning the $1 million prize, but lost the final tribal council to Michele Fitzgerald. When “Survivor: Game Changers” premieres on March 8, you can bet that Aubry will be entirely focused this time around on ensuring that she doesn’t just make it to the end, but that she befriends absolutely everybody in order to win those all-important jury votes. Read my analysis of Aubry’s chances below and then make your own “Survivor” predictions ahead of the first episode.
Many “Survivor” fans will recall that Aubry began Season 32 in a vulnerable position within her Brains tribe, having even contemplated quitting on Day 1 after she had a panic attack due to the extreme heat in Cambodia. Oddly enough it was Debbie Wanner who helped convince Aubry to stay in the game, and now Debbie’s also back for “Game Changers,” though she’s on the opposing tribe.
Aubry had to deal with an unexpected tribe switch in “Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty” that separated her from all of her allies. It was on this new tribe that Aubry really had to start playing the game by bonding with new allies and even betraying a member of her old Brains tribe. Aubry looked like the next person to go, but then came the merge and that’s when her close friend Neal Gottlieb was medically evacuated due to an infected knee. Though Aubrey was sad Neal left, his medevac likely caused her to remain in the game that week.
Toward the end of the game Aubrey was able to convince Tai Trang to flip on his alliance. That helped Aubrey reach the finish line with Tai and Michele, but in the end her social game wasn’t as good as Michele’s so she failed to win the $1 million. Tai is returning for “Game Changers” as well, though he’s starting on the Nuku tribe with Debbie. On Aubry’s Mana tribe is Caleb Reynolds, yet another ex-“Kaoh Rong” player, though Aubry and Caleb never interacted because Caleb was medevaced early on.
