‘Survivor: Game Changers’ episode 12 preview: The loved ones arrive in ‘It’s Not a High Without a Low’ [WATCH]

“Desperate times call for desperate measures,” teases the preview trailer for Wednesday’s loved ones episode of “Survivor: Game Changers,” titled “It’s Not a High Without a Low.” Sierra Thomas, who’s currently at the bottom of the Final 9 because of Sarah Lacina flipping alliances two weeks ago, declares, “I’m about to throw a Hail Mary here.” But Sarah then fires back, “This isn’t about making friends. This is about winning a million dollars.” Watch the promo for “Survivor” Season 34, Episode 12 above.

Of course, the big draw of the episode will be when the Final 9 get to see their loved ones at the reward challenge. “You are playing for your loved ones,” host Jeff Probst confirms, as the castaways react in typical dramatic fashion. Cirie Fields jumps up and down, Sarah drops to her knees, while Sierra and Tai Trang hold their hands over their mouths in shock. It’s a moment that usually brings about all kinds of tears, not just for the players in the game but for audiences watching at home.

As of this writing, Sarah has leading 1/1 odds to win “Survivor: Game Changers” due to her savvy abilities of “driving the action,” as ousted player Zeke Smith told us last week. And at the other end of the spectrum, our odds-makers are in agreement that Sierra’s time on the island is up; she has elimination odds of 6/5.

In our “Survivor” poll last week that asked which of the Final 9 does NOT deserve the title of “Game Changer,” a whopping 35% voted for Troyzan Robertson. Troyzan has a hidden immunity idol and a strong bond with Sierra and Brad Culpepper, so he should easily last a few more weeks in this game. Michaela Bradshaw, who J.T. Thomas said was unworthy of the title, came in second place in our poll with 21% of the vote.
