With Queen Sandra Diaz-Twine dethroned last week (listen to our fun exit interview), “Survivor: Game Changers” is truly anyone’s game now. In the promo video for “What Happened on Exile, Stays on Exile,” the fallout from the new Nuku tribe’s decision to oust Sandra looks like it will be fierce. Watch CBS’s preview trailer above for Season 34, Episode 7 and then update your “Survivor 34” predictions in our weekly event.
“I’m irate right now,” declares Sarah Lacina, who was one of the five players to successfully vote out Sandra, the show’s only two-time champ. Jeff Varner, Sandra’s closest ally, shares a similar sentiment when he rasps, “I want to punch them all in the throat.” But Sarah and Varner are likely upset for different reasons.
While Varner is angry over Sandra’s elimination because that makes him alone on Nuku without a single ally, Sarah is likely “irate” because of what Tai Trang did at the last tribal council. A member of the majority alliance, Tai threw Ozzy Lusth‘s name out at tribal council, prompting his friends to wonder whether they can actually trust him.
Also in the trailer, we visit the new Mana camp where several castaways are experiencing the pain of enduring 16+ days on a deserted island. “I’m as tough as they come, but you break down,” admits Cirie Fields, who is currently the only “Game Changer” to not visit tribal council. Brad Culpepper is seen crying, while Aubry Bracco confesses, “Your mind goes to places you don’t think it’s gonna go. This game is hard.”
