The two-hour season finale of “Survivor” 35, dubbed “Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers,” airs Wednesday, December 20 from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on CBS. While 23-year-old surf instructor Devon Pinto has the best odds to win according to Gold Derby’s “Survivor” predictions, it’s still anyone’s game became of one final twist. In CBS’s preview trailer for the Season 35 finale (watch above), host Jeff Probst teases a secret advantage that could shake up the game. What could this mean for Devon’s dreams of winning?
As usual, a one-hour reunion show will air immediately after the finale, featuring all of the season’s castaways and hosted by four-time Emmy winner Probst. As of last week’s episode, only five players remain in the hunt for the $1 million prize. They’re composed of an uneven mix of original tribe members, with two Heroes (Chrissy Hofbeck and Ben Driebergen), two Hustlers (Devon and Ryan Ulrich) and one Healer (Mike Zahalsky).
“Oh my gosh, I am floored,” Ryan says in the preview about the final mystery twist. Mike adds, “This game could blow up yet again.” And Chrissy declares, “No matter what you expect, something else is going to happen.”
