Fans of ABC’s reality dating series “The Bachelorette” are wringing their hands in suspense in anticipation of Monday night’s rose ceremony. We asked you in a recent poll which bachelor Rachel Lindsay should send home this week, and the popular favorite (or in this case, unpopular favorite?) was Lee, with a whopping 71% of the vote. Lee, you’ll recall, has been in trouble recently for some racist and sexist tweets, so some amount of ire was to be expected. In fact, 38% of our readers encouraged Rachel to kick him out last week. Are his days numbered?
Coming in second place with 14% of the vote was Iggy, who was stirring up trouble with fellow contestant Josiah at the end of last week’s episode. Will Rachel stand for his drama much longer?
Josiah, in fact, tied for 3rd place with Bryan and Eric, garnering just 3% of the vote. Adam and Alex were close behind in 4th place with 2% each.
Kenny and Peter tied for 5th place with 1%, and coming in last (or perhaps first?) were Anthony, Dean, Jack, Jonathan, Matt, and Will with a stunning 0% of the vote. Looks like Lee – and to a lesser extent Iggy – siphoned off all the hate for this week, making everyone else look just a little bit better by comparison.
The quest for love is never more fraught with peril than it is when watched by millions of captivated viewers. Will Rachel Lindsay take our advice and finally send Lee packing? Tune into ABC Monday night to find out.
