While last week’s episode of “The Bachelorette” saw Rachel Lindsay visiting the hometowns of the final four contestants, the July 24 episode saw her bringing the final three bachelors to Dallas, TX, to meet her family. With her father sitting this out, the guys were introduced to Rachel’s mother, sister, aunt, uncle, brother-in-law, and cousin, who must be tired of meeting all these men in front of millions of viewers. Did you know what was coming? Make your “The Bachelorette” 19 predictions for a chance to top our famous leaderboards. It’s fun and easy, so start predicting right now.
First up was Peter, who’s been a fan favorite for quite some time now (our most recent poll found that 53% of readers want Rachel to choose him). Yet Peter has expressed some reticence at getting engaged right away, a smart decision considering he’s been courting this girl with several other men. Her family is decidedly worried.
Next was Eric, who previously confessed that he’s never been in love before, despite dating one girl for about eight months. That raises some red flags for Rachel’s family, who don’t think they’re playing on the same field. Yet he gets the blessing from Rachel’s mother after asking for her daughter’s hand in marriage.
Finally, it’s Bryan’s turn to impress, which he has a hard time doing. Rachel’s sister Constance senses that Bryan lacks sincerity, and finds it hard to believe he could have fallen in love so quickly. With Bryan out of the room, Rachel argues with her family, who feel she’s in a bubble and can’t see his true colors. She’s frustrated because the energy in the room is decidedly different from when Eric or Peter visited.
Rachel and her men leave Dallas for Spain, continuing the international quest for love. Each of the men gets a one-on-one, and first up is Eric. The two go on a helicopter ride and spend the night together. Oddly enough, 33% of our readers argued that Rachel should have given Eric the boot after hometowns instead of Dean. Looks like his fortunes are beginning to turn.
She then toured a wine vineyard with Peter, where he once again expressed his hesitance to propose. Rachel explains that she didn’t come this far for just a boyfriend. The conversation doesn’t end well, and Peter’s fate hangs in the balance.
Next week, instead of seeing Bryan’s one-on-one, we’ll get a tell-all from the also-rans. That’s right, the Whaboom guy is coming back!
