‘The Simpsons’ parodies the first 100 days of Donald Trump [WATCH]

Donald Trump is nearing the end of his first 100 days as president of the United States, so “The Simpsons” decided to celebrate the occasion — and I use the word “celebrate” loosely — with a new video depicting his accomplishments and the scary state of his White House. Watch it above.

The clip begins with a suicidal press secretary Sean Spicer, and Kellyanne Conway insisting, “I am not replacing him!” Then we travel up the stairs to find Trump’s advisors Steve Bannon and Stephen Miller strangling each other. Finally we see Trump himself, surrounded by books including “The Little Book of Big Bombs” and “Florida on $10 Million a Day.”

“So many accomplishments!” Trump boasts. “Lowered my golf handicap, my Twitter following increased by 700, and finally we can shoot hibernating bears — my boys will love that.” Then a staffer brings him an important bill, to which Trump asks, “Can’t Fox News read it and I’ll watch what they say?”

But Homer Simpson looks on the bright side: “Give the president of the United States some time,” Homer says. “He’s only 70-years-old.” But don’t worry, the video assures us, we’re already “6.8% of the way home.” Trump’s official 100th day will be April 29. While this isn’t an official report card of his time in office so far, time will tell if those more formal assessments will be any better.
