‘The Voice’ elimination: Ashland Craft thanks Miley Cyrus for support [WATCH]

“This is further than I could ever have imagined making it.” revealed an emotional Ashland Craft following her elimination from “The Voice” on the third live results show of season 13. “Miley has just increased my confidence so much,” declared the Team Miley Cyrus singer. “That is going to take me so far in life and I couldn’t be more thankful to her.” (Watch Craft’s emotional exit interview from “The Voice” above.)

The bottom three vote-getters among the Top 10 artists were Craft and two of Jennifer Hudson‘s artists: Davon Fleming and Shi’Ann Jones. Each had to sing one more song to try and win votes cast by viewers via Twitter and two of the artists were eliminated. Craft was up first and tackled the 2005 country song “Tonight I Wanna Cry”, which was a big hit for Keith Urban as the fifth single from his fourth studio album, “Be Here.”

Jones did herself proud with her rendition of the 1941 standard “At Last” that became associated with blues singer Etta James after she covered it in 1960. Fleming followed with “Ain’t No Way,” a song that Carolyn Franklin wrote for her older sister Aretha Franklin back in 1968.
