‘The Voice’ finale: Chris Blue, Usher perform ‘Everybody Hurts’ [WATCH]

Before being named the winner of season 12 of “The Voice” on Tuesday, Chris Blue already had the crowd on his side with an electric performance of “Everybody Hurts” with Usher. They dedicated their rendition of this R.E.M. signature song to the 22 victims of the suicide bomber at Monday’s Ariana Grande concert in Manchester. (Watch their performance above.)

Usher was a coach on seasons 4 and 6 of “The Voice,” winning the later season with his artist Josh Kaufman. Usher’s most recent guest spot on this NBC ratings juggernaut was in the season 9 finale when he collaborated on “Without You” with Jordan Smith, who went on to be named the winner.

Prior to the appearance by Usher, we saw Blue’s coach, Alicia Keys, liken her artist to this Grammy winner as well as Chris Brown and Bruno Mars. Following his performance, the audience agreed that Blue was worthy of such comparisons. Do you agree?
