“The Voice” kicks off its live shows on Nov. 20 with a dozen artists still in the hunt to win season 13 of this reality competition series. Each of the four coaches — Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — cut their teams of six in half in pre-taped playoffs that aired the week of Nov. 13.
Cyrus’ picks are Ashland Craft, Janice Freeman and Brooke Simpson, who we saw win over Megan Rose, Karli Webster and Stephan Marcellus respectively in the knockout round.
Hudson’s choices are Davon Fleming, Shi’Ann Jones and Noah Mac, who we saw win over Eric Lynn, Lucas Holliday and Jeremiah Miller respectively in the knockout round.
Levine’s team includes Addison Agen and Jon Mero, who we saw win over Dennis Drummond and Dylan Gerard respectively in the knockout round, and his steal from Shelton, Adam Cunningham.
And Shelton’s slate includes his steal from Team Miley Cyrus: Chloe Kohanski. Also numbering among Shelton’s top three are Red Marlow and Keisha Renee who won over Megan Rose and Kathrina Feigh respectively in the knockout round.
We asked you which one of these final 12 artists, who will sing for survival on the live shows that begin Nov. 20, sounds the most like a winner. Your top pick by far was Agen from Team Adam Levine, who merited 27% of the total vote as of this writing.
Just one artist from each of the other teams got double digit support: Mac (Team Jennifer Hudson) is at 16% while both Kohanski (Team Blake Shelton) and Simpson (Team Miley Cyrus) have 13% of the total vote. Of the rest of the competition, only Fleming (Team Jennifer Hudson) is close to cracking that 10% ceiling.
