Chloe Kohanski has made it to the final of “The Voice” based on her performances to date on season 13 of this reality competition series. She is coached by Blake Shelton, who has won five of the previous 12 seasons. This 23-year-old charmer from Mount Juliet, Tennessee has sung on “The Voice” eight times so far. Which of these turns in the spotlight do you think showcased her talent the best?
Vote in our poll below as well as for the other three finalists:
As per Kohanski’s official NBC bio: “Miley Cyrus was one of Chloe’s musical inspirations growing up. She has always wanted to be a singer but after graduation, she decided to go to college to be an English teacher. Soon after, she realized that wasn’t for her, so she quit school and started playing in a blues band. Her decision to pursue music wasn’t exactly what her parents hoped for, as they have always been concerned that the music industry can be unpredictable. While they always want what’s best for Chloe, they are still supportive of her singing. ‘The Voice’ is Chloe’s chance to make her parents proud and get validation of her musical talent.”
To date, Kohankski has raised her voice in song on the following:
Blind Audition: “The Chain” (three-chair turn: went with Miley Cyrus)
Battle Round: “I Am Woman” (won over Illianna Viramontes
Knockout: “Landslide” (Cyrus chose Ashland Craft; stolen by Blake Shelton)
Playoff: “Time After Time”
Live Show 1: “Thank You”
Live Show 2: “Total Eclipse of the Heart”
Live Show 3: “Call Me”
Live Show 4: “I Want to Know What Love Is”
