‘The Voice’ Top 4: Addison Agen’s best performance in season 13 was ‘Both Sides Now,’ say 22% of readers

Addison Agen has made it to the final of “The Voice” based on her performances to date on season 13 of this reality competition series. She is coached by Adam Levine, who has won three of the previous 12 seasons. We asked you which of her songs was the best to date and you went “Both Sides, Now” by  a small margin.

This tune, which she did on the most recent live show, topped our rankings as it registered with 22% of readers. That was only four points higher than the next closest performance as detailed below. This 16-year-old newcomer from Fort Wayne, Indiana has raised her voice in song on the following:

Blind Audition: “Jolene” (two-chair turn: went with Miley Cyrus): 15%

Battle Round: “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” (Cyrus chose Karli Webster; stolen by Adam Levine): 1%

Knockout: “Beneath Your Beautiful” (won over Dennis Drummond): 16%

Playoff: “Angel from Montgomery”: 8%

Live Show 1: “She Used to Be Mine”: 7%

Live Show 2: “A Case of You”: 13%

Live Show 3: “Lucky”: 18%

Live Show 4: “Both Sides, Now”: 22%

As per Agen’s official NBC bio: “Addison had never been on a plane before flying out to audition for The Voice. Raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Addison started singing when she was only four years old. When she was nine, her father bought a record store that gave Addison the opportunity to explore many different genres and musical influences. She began songwriting when she was 11, and recently, her father built a stage inside the shop so she could perform. Addison’s mother has several jobs, including being a musical therapist at nursing homes. Addison loves to help her mom by singing at the nursing homes and getting the residents excited about music.”
