‘The Walking Dead’ episodes ranked, worst to best: How does the 100th episode compare?

Now that “The Walking Dead” is at the halfway mark of Season 8, we have updated our comprehensive photo gallery above that ranks every episode of AMC’s zombie drama from worst to best, according to their IMDb score. Can you guess what’s #1? And more importantly, where did the 100th episode rank? We’ll be back to update this gallery again after the finale of Season 8.

“TWD” season opener, “Mercy,” also served as their 100th episode but they avoided the nostalgia trip most series fall into and instead gave us an all-out war. But it was the mid-season finale, “How It’s Gotta Be,” that delivered a massive shocker when Carl (Chandler Riggs) was bitten in the torso by a walker, meaning he is assured to die as they will not be able to cut out the infected area. When the show returns on February 25, here’s hoping they’ll give Carl a proper send off as he’s arguably had one of the worst childhoods in TV history.

Still alive for now is Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), who has now set a record as the longest surviving villain in “The Walking Dead” history. But how much longer can he and the Saviors remain the big bad? Viewers finally were given a more intimate look at Negan in “The Big Scary U,” so it seems as though the producers are not done with him yet.

“The Walking Dead’s” always impressive and heavily made-up stunt ensemble just received their sixth consecutive (2013-2018) SAG Award nomination this year. They’ve lost the award every year to “Game of Thrones” but after the tragic death of stuntman John Bernecker this summer, SAG voters could finally award the show in his honor.
