That timing couldn’t be better as it is just days before TV academy voters will be filling in their Emmy nomination ballots. Burgess has reaped Comedy Supporting Actor bids for each of the first two seasons of this Tina Fey series. He lost in 2015 to Tony Hale (“Veep”) and last year to Louie Anderson (“Basket”).
