Season 20 of “Big Brother” starts on Wednesday June 27 with a two-hour premiere beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. We will meet each of the 16 new houseguests and CBS promises three new challenges that will “yield a game-changing power” as well as “two unprecedented punishments.” We’ll also learn more about this year’s twist, the BB App Store, which will go live on July 1 and allow viewers to help Houseguests obtain “power apps” to help win the game.
An hour-long taped follow-up episode airs on Thursday (June 28) at the usual 9:00 p.m. time, with Sunday’s installment on July 1 also in its summer-long slot of 8:00 p.m. That Sunday show will conclude with a big reveal: the first Head of Household and the two houseguests who have been nominated for eviction. The results of that will be revealed in the first live show on Thursday July 5.
CBS newswoman Julie Chen , who has been with the show since the start, returns as host of #BB20. The first live eviction will be on Thursday July 5. Have you made your “Big Brother” predictions yet in Gold Derby’s season-long event?
