2018 Country Music Association Awards: Complete list of CMA nominations led by Chris Stapleton

Nominees for the 52nd annual Country Music Association Awards were announced on Tuesday, August 28 in Nashville. Leading with a whopping five bids is Chris StapletonHe contends for the top prize, Entertainer of the Year, at the CMA Awards as well as for his top-selling album (“A Room: Volume 2”), twice for his chart-topping single (“Broken Halos”) and as a male vocalist.

Jason Aldean andMiranda Lambert have four bids each while a slew of talent have three nominations apiece at the CMAs including: Dierks Bentley, Florida Georgia Line,, Thomas Rhett and Keith Urban. Winners will be revealed during a Nov. 14 live ceremony on ABC hosted for the 11th year in a row by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.

Both the nominations and the winners are decided by canvassing the nearly 8,000 members of the Country Music Association. The nominations phase includes three rounds of voting to determine the final five nominees in each of the dozen races detailed below.
