These racetrack odds are based on the combined predictions of hundreds of Gold Derby users who have entered their picks in our predictions center thus far. That includes the Editors who cover awards year-round for Gold Derby, the Top 24 Users who got the highest scores predicting last year’s Daytime Emmy nominations and the All-Star Top 24 who got the highest scores when you combine the nominations predictions from the last two years.

Last year all four soap operas left on the air were nominated for Best Drama Series, Best Writing Team and Best Directing Team, so it’s the acting categories where we can expect the most jockeying for position. An initial round of voting took place with voters watching sample clips of all entrants in the lead and supporting acting categories. The results of that vote narrowed down the acting races to 10 pre-nominees each (there are 11 in Best Actress this year due to a tie).

Those pre-nominees then had sample performance reels judged by blue ribbon panels, and so did the pre-nominees in the younger acting categories who skip the first round and go straight to the panels. And blue ribbon voting is doubly important: not only does it decide the final nominees, it decides the winners as well.

So find out below who we’re betting on for nominations and who we’re betting on to win. And find out if we were right on March 21.
