Now that the 2018 Emmy nominations have been unveiled, TV academy members have one month to watch episodes submitted by all of the nominees before final voting takes place August 13-27. Since guest performers must declare their episodes on the initial nominations ballot, we already know the submissions for Best Drama Guest Actor nominees F. Murray Abraham (“Homeland”), Cameron Britton (“Mindhunter”), Matthew Goode (“The Crown”), Ron Cephas Jones (“This Is Us”), Gerald McRaney (“This Is Us”) and Jimmi Simpson (“Westworld”).

F. Murray Abraham (“Homeland”) as Dar Adal
Episode title: “All In”
Emmy ballot description: Saul’s team arrives in Russia under diplomatic cover. The Russians deny their interference with Keane’s presidency. When the operation to kidnap Simone fails, Saul blackmails a Russian general. The general’s gunmen raid the GRU, seeking Simone, but Carrie has taken her place. Saul gets Simone. Keane is relieved from office.

Episode title: “Matrimonium”
Emmy ballot description: Matthew Goode plays Tony Armstrong-Jones, an avant-garde photographer who knows all the right people. Tony’s swinging-sixties attitude is in stark contrast to the staid outlook of the palace that Margaret is accustomed to. As their love affair continues, Tony’s bohemian-lifestyle is put at risk by his proximity to the establishment.

Ron Cephas Jones (“This Is Us”) as William
Episode title: “A Father’s Advice”
Emmy ballot description: William’s presence still lives in his son and family as he recites a poem titled “A Father’s Advice,” that ties all the different time periods of the Pearsons. Beth recounts a moment with William to Randall that has formed her opinion on their current adoption journey.

Episode title: “The Car”
