2018 SAG Awards TV predictions: Complete racetrack odds in all 9 categories

The 24th Screen Actors Guild Awards will take place Sunday, January 21, in a live ceremony airing on TNT and TBS (8/7c) hosted by Kristen Bell — the show’s first host ever. While it’s just the latest stop on the long Oscar campaign for films, it’s the final major awards show of the season for TV folk until the Emmys in September.

SAG doesn’t have perfect correlation with the Emmys, partially due to the fact that the former doesn’t feature supporting TV categories and because SAG voters love repeat winners more than anyone. SAG’s top award, for ensemble, has also honored a handful of casts whose shows have not won a series award at the Emmys, including three-time champs “Orange Is the New Black” and Downton Abbey,” and two-time champ “Boardwalk Empire.”

“Stranger Things” and “GLOW” are the most nominated shows with four each in a field dominated by Netflix, which scored 19 nominations.
