2019 Critics’ Choice TV Awards nominations by TV show and network

Among the networks in contention at the Critic’s Choice TV Awards five broke into the double digits for nominations. Leading the way were HBO and Netflix with a whopping 20 bids apiece. For the paycaster, the limited series “Sharp Objects” was tops with four bids while the best showing among the nominees by the streaming service was the comedy series “One Day at a Time” with three. See full list of Critics’ Choice TV Awards 2019 nominations.

Surprisingly neither of these networks has the nominations leader among all programs. Those bragging rights belong to 17-time contender FX (twice over) with the drama series “The Americans” and the limited series “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story” as well as Showtime with the limited series “Escape at Dannemora.” Read our full report on the TV contenders.

Amazon earned an even dozen bids, including four for reigning comedy champ “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and three apiece for the new drama series “Homecoming” and the limited series “A Very English Scandal.”
