33 jaw-dropping Critics’ Choice TV Awards snubs: ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ Sterling K. Brown, Benedict Cumberbatch in ‘Patrick Melrose’ …

The Broadcast Television Journalist Assn. released the list of nominations for the 9th annual Critics’ Choice TV Awards on Monday. While the roster is filled with some of television’s top programs, there are a slew that are missing, including last year’s drama series winner “The Handmaid’s Tale.”

That Hulu hit reaped only two bids for leading lady Elisabeth Moss and supporting player Yvonne Strahovski. While Moss is back to defend her title, the same cannot be said for last year’s Best Drama Actor winner Sterling K. Brown. He was snubbed in favor of his “This Is Us” co-star Milo Ventimiglia.
