2019 SAG Awards nominations: Full list of Screen Actors Guild Awards nominees

Nominations for the 25th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were revealed on Wednesday, Dec. 12  at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. These awards, honoring the best achievements in film and television performances for the year 2018, will be presented on Jan. 27, 2019 on both TNT and TBS beginning at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. Alan Alda will be feted with the Life Achievement Award.

Last year, the guild foresaw 15 of the eventual 20 Oscar nominees for acting. In 2017 and 2015, it went 17 for 20 while in 2016 it previewed a lucky 13. In both 2014 and 2013, the guild nominated 14 of the performers who went on to contend at the Academy Awards.

The SAG Awards nominations were decided by a randomly selected nominations panel comprising 2,500 members of the merged Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists unions. The winners will be decided by all 121,000 members of SAG-AFTRA.
