ACM Awards 2018 winners: Best prediction scores by our Editors and Users

Congratulations to our User Max for a terrific score of 76.92% when predicting the 2018 ACM Awards winners on Sunday. He is actually tied with Wesley Perry at that percentage but has the better point score total of 5,841 by using the 500 super bets wisely.

Almost 300 people worldwide predicted these Academy of Country Music winners in 13 categories. The awards ceremony was held on April 15 in Las Vegas and was hosted by Reba McEntire. Our top scorer got several top winners correct, including Miranda Lambert (female vocalist), Chris Stapleton (male vocalist) and Brothers Osborne (vocal duo). He only missed three categories, but one of those was the biggest prize of Entertainer of the Year (picking Garth Brooks over champ Jason Aldean).

You can see how your score compares to all others in our leaderboard rankings of all contestants, which also includes links to see each participant’s predictions. To see your own scores, go to the User menu in the top right corner of every page of Gold Derby when you’re signed in to the site. Use the drop down menu to go to “View Profile,” then look for the links to your “Award Show Scores.” Gold Derby must evaluate each potential winner’s eligibility as per our contest rules. If eligible, the first-place finisher receives a $100 Amazon gift card.

For the four Gold Derby Editors participating, Marcus Dixon and Daniel Montgomery are tied at the top with 53.85%. I follow them with 38.46% and then Paul Sheehan with 30.00%. See Editors’ leaderboard.
