‘American Idol’ Top 14: Who is singing on Sunday April 22, what songs will they perform?

The revival of “American Idol” on ABC has finally reached the Top 14 stage of the competition, with viewers getting to vote for their favorites based on the performance of these finalists on the Sunday April 22 episode. This show was taped on Saturday and we have dug some digging and discovered the songs sung by these would-be winners of season 16. Scroll down to see the names of these tunes and the running order of the contestants on this show hosted, as always, by Ryan Seacrest.

All 14 of these contestants survived a prolonged process that began with winning over the three judges — Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie — at a regional audition. A whopping 169 hopefuls made the trip to Hollywood where they were cut down to just 50. Those Top 50 competed both individually and in groups before the judges decided on the Top 24. Those two dozen artists then had to sing both solo and in duets with celebrities and convince the three judges that they deserved a place in the Top 14.

Which of these Top 14 do you think will win season 16? After reviewing the list of the tunes you will see them sing on Sunday vote for your favorite at the bottom of this post. And be sure to sound off on this ABC revival of “American Idol” in the comments section.
