‘American Idol’ Top 7 spoilers: Who is singing on Sunday May 6, what songs from years they were born will they perform ?

The Top 7 will sing two songs on the May 6 episode of “American Idol.” One will be from the catalog of the late singer/songwriter Prince while the other comes from the year they were born. The seven finalists are: Gabby Barrett, Cade Foehner, Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Maddie Poppe, Jurnee Siani, Catie Turner and Michael J. Woodard.

ABC is airing this episode live from coast to coast. This means that all viewers will get to vote for their favorites and then see the results in real-time. This two-hour show will conclude with the elimination of two artists. For west coasters who don’t want to watch the action as it happens, the show will be repeated in its usual 8 p.m. time slot with a warning that voting is closed.
