‘America’s Got Talent’: Does Courtney Hadwin deserve to win ‘AGT’? [POLL]

Courtney Hadwin was the standout singer on the first live quarterfinal of “America’s Got Talent” on August 14. She nailed her cover of James Brown‘s soul classic “Papa’s Got a Brand New Bag” and was one of the seven acts to make it through to the semifinals. This English songbird has captivated America with her singing and is the current frontrunner to win season 13 of “AGT.” Are you a fan or do you think that she is overrated? Vote in our poll below as to how she will do in the rest of the competition.

This 13-year-old is painfully shy, and finds it hard to speak. But when she opens her mouth to sing, she is transformed. She would be third youngster in a row to win the show, following ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer and another singer, Grace VanderWaal.

Hadwin won over all the judges with her charming awkwardness at her audition back in June. After she surprised everyone with her spirited rendition of the Otis Redding classic “Hard to Handle,” Howie Mandel was inspired to press his Golden Buzzer. That sent Hadwin straight through to the quarterfinals, allowing her to skip the judge cuts portion of the competition.
