Watch ‘America’s Got Talent’ judges cheer girl who makes animal noises: Is she the next Darci Lynne Farmer?

Could Lily Wilker be the next Darci Lynne Farmer? Like that talented teen ventriloquist who won “American’s Got Talent,” this 11-year-old farmgirl does tricks with her voice. This charmer won over all four judges on the June 5 episode of “America’s Got Talent” by making a variety of animal sounds. (Watch her audition video above.)

As Wilker explained to the panel, she first started imitating the animals found on her farm just outside New Bremen, Ohio. While she enjoyed imitating the animals that she saw everyday, she knew that if she was going to impress the likes of Simon Cowell, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel then she needed to expand her repertoire to other creatures found further afield like dolphins.

In his “AGT” live blog, our recapper John Benutty observed, “Farmgirl Lilly Wilker won Simon over before her performance with her love of animals. Her talent, in turns out, was inspired by those animals because she can imitate all of their sounds! She recreated dolphins, ducks, dogs, horses, a turkey and a rooster. The judges were totally endeared by her and sent her through to the next round, but Simon put it best when he said that he’s not sure she can win. It’s a tough act to impress round upon round, but hopefully she can do something surprising again next time!
