Vote now in our poll below.
Amanda Mena (Mel B) — In the live rounds this 15-year-old singer performed a knock-out rendition of Pink‘s “What About Us” that was a mix of Spanish and English. When rival judge Simon Cowell suggested that Amanda should be in a group, Mel was adamant that her Golden Buzzer pick remain a solo artist.
Makayla Phillips (Heidi Klum) — Makayla, also 15 years old, wowed the live Dolby Theatre audience with her cover of Julia Michaels‘ “Issues” and impressed all four “AGT” judges with her powerhouse voice. Howie Mandel remarked, “I think you really stepped it up and rose to the occasion.”
Michael Ketterer (Simon Cowell) — Simon and Mel both broke down in tears after this father of six performed James Bay’s “Us.” “As a dad, I can’t imagine what you’ve done,” Simon told his Golden Buzzer while trying to hold back his emotion. Heidi echoed his thoughts, saying, “We just need more men like you.”
Voices of Hope (Ken Jeong) — This children’s choir is made up of about 70 kids of all ages. They took on “A Million Dreams” from “The Greatest Showman” during the Quarterfinals 2 episode and earned this praise from Simon: “If I had a product called happiness, that would be the commercial.”
Zurcaroh (Tyra Banks) — This acrobatic dance group of children and adults has been compared to Cirque du Soleil thanks to their death-defying moves and exciting makeup/costumes. “If there was ever an act ready for Las Vegas, it’s you guys. I mean, you were perfect!” raved Heidi after their Quarterfinals 3 performance.
